University of Kentucky Joins e-GRO

The e-GRO team welcomes theUniversity of Kentucky as a new collaborator with W. Garrett Owen joining theDepartment of Horticulture in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment.Garrett, an assistant professor of floriculture and specialty crop production ingreenhouses and controlled environments, has an appointment split betweenExtension, research, teaching, and service. His Extension and research effortswill serve the Commonwealth and focus on ornamental, specialty and food cropproduction systems, culture, and practices. He will be teaching anundergraduate course focused on greenhouse and controlled environmentstructures, management, and production.

W. Garrett Owen is an Assistant Professor of Sustainable Greenhouse and Nursery Systems in the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science at The Ohio State University. He has an appointment in research, teaching and Extension. His area of expertise is plant nutrition; plant growth regulation; and production problem diagnostics.
