Resource Spotlight: 2024-2025 New York and New England Management Guidelines for Greenhouse Floriculture and Herbaceous Ornamentals

Wed, Mar 13th, 2024, created by Beth Scheckelhoff

One of the most used resources for pest management across the floriculture industry has a new face this year!  The former New England Floriculture Guide has joined forces with Cornell University to become a jointly-authored publication, the 2024-2025 New York and New England Management Guidelines for Greenhouse Floriculture and Herbaceous Ornamentals. Click the link above to purchase an online or printed copy for $43.50 each, or $61.00 if purchased together.

Whether you have used the guide for years or are learning about it for the first time – you will find comprehensive pest management information for insects, mites, diseases, weeds, plant growth regulators, algae, and more. Users outside of New York and the New England area will want to ensure that pest management products and rates listed are labeled for use in their state. This new publication also provides contact information for industry experts, diagnostic services, testing services, as well as regulatory agencies.

Remember, growers can access a free online copy of the 2020-2021 edition of the New England Floriculture Guide here:  http://negfg.uconn.edu/.
