Help Prioritize Research
Help prioritize research by completing a survey to share what pests, diseases, and weeds are most difficult to manage. The IR4 Program 2025 Environmental Horticulture Program Grower & Extension Survey is now available to collect your input. The Grower & Extension Survey is the best way to share which pest problems you have difficulty managing due to insufficient tools. Your input helps the IR4 team understand the needs of growers so that the most important topics are prioritized for research funding.
You may complete and submit the form here. The deadline for submitting a survey is August 29, 2025.
The IR‐4 Environmental Horticulture focuses on greenhouse, nursery, landscape, Christmas tree, and forestry producers. The primary objectives of the program are to facilitate new product registrations and to place new diseases, insects, and weeds, as well as new crops, on ornamental horticulture product labels. Visit the IR4 Environmental Horticulture Program Website, https://www.ir4project.org/ehc/, to learn more about the program and survey.
