Diseases of Specialty Cut Flowers Resource Available for FREE

Mon, Nov 3rd, 2025, created by Beth Scheckelhoff
A new guide on diseases of specialty cut flowers has been published by Dr. Francesca Hand, Daniela Gutierrez Yanez, and Ambrosia Ella Havan of the Ornamental Crops Pathology Lab at The Ohio State University. The guide covers fungal and oomycete, bacterial and phytoplasma, viral, and nematode diseases as well as tables with chemical control options.

The development of this guide was funded in part by the American Floral Endowment and the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers. For a limited time, growers can download a FREE digital guide or purchase a paper copy for $30 at extensionpubs.osu.edu
